Qpi3p Trilogy Premium Domains and Brandable Names–Meaning?

Message to all those who like to see behind the scenes and all those who tried to convince me the opposite of that Qpi3p Domains are premium and brandable…

It is not important who, but some of the brokers approached me very aggressively about Qpi3p Domains, which gave me the reason to write this article.

There is a logic, which arguments if Qpi3p Domains have a quality or not. But first, the domain names need to be understood and with the correct promotion much can be achieved.

Please, let me induce what I see…

Premium Domains

What are “premium” domain names? What “premium” really means???

Does “premium” means: short, easy to remember, …and all “blablabla”, which suddenly is repeating more and more all over the place in the domain names world…

Or does “premium” simply means that the domain names are registered already by someone?

And what exactly is a “brandable” name…?

…and what about TLDs?

Here is my argument to it:

If I google “buy domain name”, the results I get are the domain names registrars where I can “buy” TLDs.

If I google “buy premium domain”, search results show auctions and marketplaces, where one can gamble for some really useless names for undefined prices… And all these really useless names are still called premium.

Thus, it is easy to assume and confirm that a “premium” domain name only means that it is registered already.

Consequently, one can assume and confirm, the “domain” only means TLD. And the TLD is actually only a “location”.

The DOT COM is relevant globally and it is relevant to profit oriented entities.

So, if you want to buy a “domain name” you can get it at registrars. But if you want to buy a premium domain you can get it at auctions, marketplaces, some portals, some websites, with brokers or from domainers.

Furthermore…

One dictionary word (and personal names) can never be really trademarked, which creates a risk...

And branding is not about the name, but it is about the story that stands behind the name.

Dictionary Keyword(s) vs Invented vs Brandable (Domain) Name

For example, Hero is a Swiss company, producing food since 1886. Since 1889 it is called Hero. The name “Hero” is made out of Gustav Henckell and Karl Roth. So, there is some art behind creating this name. And the whole point is that in German language “hero” does not mean a hero. Hero was created long before the Internet, yet they create “imaginary – invented” name for their, still today, very successful company, not directly correlating it to English dictionary word “hero”. Good idea, but still it is a one dictionary word, which brings a bit of confusion.

If one googles: HERO, the results show Hero Group, or Hero MotoCorp Automobile company from Delhi and else. But, regardless of having Hero.com, there is no sign of Hero Games – Global Quality, which was founded 2015 and is a game developer and publisher with the highest global revenue in China. Yet you find bunch of other results of “hero” businesses…

My point is…

When I hear or see the word “hero” I see apricot jam, somebody else sees a motorbike and somebody else sees something completely else…

For to picture out the difference, lets view into “imaginary – invented” name: Adidas

Adidas is a proper brand name - nobody else can have the same name! Not even a similar one…!!! Not in different industry, not using it ever for any commercial purposes whatsoever else than for original Adidas products.

The word “adidas” has nothing to do with sport. Adolf Dassler made the name out of combining his nick name “Adi” with his last name “Dassler”.

Many Americans, still today, don’t even pronounce it correct! Yet still everybody knows what Adidas means, or not?

When whoever from us hears or sees the word “adidas”, regardless to wrong pronunciation, we all see only an Adidas sneaker or else products correlated to Adidas company, which is the only company with this name. There is no doubt “which” Adidas… It is always clear Adidas is Adidas and nothing else.

Google the word “Adidas” and view all 10+ pages of show results through, check all search results possible and all you get out is about Adidas (AG) only…

“Imaginary–invented” name which works perfectly!

For to take different example, let’s look Thomy (Mayonnaise). Thomy is also a personal name, but written as so, very rare name and it was changed from original name Thomi into Thomy. Word “thomy” has nothing to do with the mayonnaise or else Thomy products, but we all correlate it to mayonnaise, because of its marketing…

Google “Thomy” and you come to the same story as with Adidas… Thomy and only Thomy “überall”.

And there are much more examples as such…

Good (Domain) Name

Suma summarum, to my knowledge, a good name is meaningful, creative and invented.

The story, which stands behind the creation of the name, gives an association and so enriches the branding. This supports marketing, which actually plays the most important role in making the name successful.

Quality name is an invented name, which can be effortlessly a registered trademark. It is recognizable and outstanding, because it has meaning in the background and it is different form “daily casual” names. But still, in the end, it is about how the name is advertised…

The quality name offers a story to create great marketing (branding) and the security of staying globally recognizable due to its uniqueness and its possibility of becoming a globally registered trademark.

Regardless of a business being local or global, a perfect domain name is an exact match with the brand name. For-profit oriented always with the DOT COM TLD. In the case of a business operating mostly or only locally, additional to the dot com, it makes sense to acquire the same name with CC TLD.

Now, let us view little bit deeper…

By myself, I prefer honest marketing – no manipulation, but quality products, services and inbound marketing. My intention is to create trust in people with transparency, honesty, fair deals and quality.

But the reality out there is unfortunately different. Therefore, it is good to know what is really happening in this “crazy world”…

It does not have to be, but the marketing (including branding) is actually only a “brainwash”.

For example, the power of repetition always makes its job. Repeat it long enough and if you like it or not, you will start to believe it, like it… It’s a hypnosis. It goes into the subconscious, and it effects physiologically.

The repetition makes people familiar with the brand, product or service. The feeling of “familiarity” creates trust in people, they “feel save” with the brand, product, service and they go for it…

The “repletion” is not the only technique used to manipulate. There are many other approaches used as manipulation to induce the subconscious, which are usually implemented in the story, combination of words, tone of voice, visual design (colors), subtle messaging…marketing.

The fact is that people always buy that which they are “brainwashed” into… Make a trend and like the sheep, they all go behind it, also if directly into the abyss.

With simple words told, with repetition of images, words and tones, you make people to see and desire the mayonnaise each time when they see or hear the word T… It’s a manipulation of our brain, thus you can make every name brandable if you know how to stick it into people’s subconscious… But the essence is that dictionary one word cannot be a registered trademark and everybody can use it freely. For the difference to an “invented” word or name, which can easily become a registered trademark.

Creating the names with the keywords relevant to the number of searches, CPC and etc., is one way of doing it. Software usually does the work.

But to create a real good outstanding brandable name is an art. And there is much work and usually psychological manipulation behind, before this name is famous.

To mention about generic or descriptive domain names, which include keywords such as “refinancing mortgage” or “side hustle” or else with similar intention-oriented keywords… There is nothing to brand, nor advertise really, because what people need, it sells by itself. There is no art in this “keywords” domain names (descriptive or generic). These names present only an (ab)use of people’s needs. If the goal is only to earn money regardless to the “cost”, then sure, these names are great to use. But if the aim is to build a quality brand, then cheating with keywords or else manipulations are not your goal.

On the long term, it is always better to use some creativity and put some effort into creating a reliable brand with a unique, quality brand (domain) name.

Business Name or Domain Name Created by an AI

As much as an AI is really great and helpful invention, the AI programs for evaluating or creating the domain names or business names cannot know what really is good, because we are not zombis, but we are humans, we have creative thinking, which is difficult to understand for an AI, unless we teach it… And again, regardless of the lessons, AI cannot “sing” until we give it a voice! Probably not even then.

But again, who am I to say something, when there is the greatest expertise on the market since “400” years already… Probably they know all this and much more… …or not?!?

“Whom can you trust?”
“Yourself.”

Logic

“Anger ain’t healthy! Better take it with the humor…”

But some might not see it that way.

Good thing is, less self-control has a person, better you can read it…and act accordingly…

While searching for a broker to cooperate, I have received much devaluation. Of course, not all of the brokers are monsters. But some clearly showed their “monster-ish” tendencies.

In one conversation it was almost damned from me that I MUST let Qpi3p Domains expire!

Not using the exact words, but very aggressively was told to me that Qpi3p Domains are really bad, not useful names, not premium at all and that I should let them expire right away!

My first question appeared… But why such an aggressive answer if in your opinion Qpi3p Domains are not premium at all and they are of no value???

Normally, if something is not in your interest, it doesn’t touch you. You won’t stress about it. You will calmly decline it and “the end of the story”.

So, if Qpi3p Domains really aren’t worth anything, why then so much “stress” about it??? Forcingly pushing me to expire them…???

No logic.

Unless there is a logic.

Old Slovenian aphorism says:

“If you step on a cat’s tail, it will meow.”

So, now, are Qpi3p Domains premium or not? Here is my answer to it:

Qpi3p Domains are from Switzerland and…

“In der Schweiz ist alles Premium!“

Schweiz Premium Poulet Nuggets Bell are delicious!

And believe me, they are delicious!!!

Thanks for reading!
